Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for lawful, secure and fair use of EuroHost hosting and related services.

  1. Scope and purpose
    1. This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to all Services provided by EuroHost.com within the European Union and the European Economic Area (EEA).
    2. The purpose of this Policy is to ensure lawful, secure, and fair use of the Services in compliance with applicable EU legislation, including but not limited to the GDPR, the e-Commerce Directive, and consumer protection laws.
    3. By using the Services, You agree to comply with this Policy, the Terms of Service, the Fair Use Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations.
  2. Prohibited uses
    1. The Services must not be used in any manner that violates applicable EU, EEA, Member State, or international law.
    2. Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activities are strictly prohibited.
    3. Distribution of spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or other unauthorized electronic communications is prohibited in accordance with Directive 2002/58/EC.
    4. Hosting, transmitting, or distributing illegal, defamatory, hateful, obscene, or violent content is not permitted.
    5. Use of the Services to infringe intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or data protection rights of others is prohibited.
    6. Denial-of-service attacks, network abuse, or any activity that disrupts service stability or security are strictly forbidden.
    7. Unauthorized resale, redistribution, or misuse of allocated resources is not permitted.
    8. Processing or storing personal data in violation of the GDPR or other applicable data protection laws is prohibited.
  3. Content standards
    1. All content uploaded, stored, or transmitted through the Services must be lawful, accurate, and non-misleading.
    2. Content must comply with applicable EU consumer protection, copyright, and data protection legislation.
    3. Content must not promote or incite hatred, violence, or discrimination on grounds prohibited under EU law.
    4. Content depicting, promoting, or facilitating sexual exploitation of minors or any form of abuse is strictly prohibited.
  4. Enforcement and suspension
    1. EuroHost.com may investigate any suspected violation of this Policy.
    2. Where appropriate, reasonable notice will be provided before corrective measures are taken, unless immediate action is required to prevent harm, comply with legal obligations, or protect service integrity.
    3. Enforcement actions may include:
      1. temporary or permanent suspension of the account;
      2. removal or restriction of unlawful or non-compliant content;
      3. notification of competent authorities where required by law;
      4. termination of Services in cases of serious or repeated violations.
    4. Users have the right to appeal suspension or removal decisions in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/1150, where applicable.
  5. Data protection
    1. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
    2. User data is not disclosed to third parties except where required by applicable EU or Member State law, or necessary for the provision of the Services.
  6. Transparency and communication
    1. Users will be notified of material changes to this Policy at least 15 days in advance, unless immediate modification is required for legal compliance or security reasons.

  7. Governing law and jurisdiction
